My darling,
I built this for you because I couldn't find words big enough to say out loud what I feel. So I decided to build you something instead. Something you could come back to on any day — a good day, a hard day, a day you just need to be reminded.
Three days. I know it's only been three days, and some people might think that's too soon to feel this way. But I'd ask them: have you ever met someone and immediately understood that they were going to matter to you? That's what happened. You happened.
I want you to know that your happiness is something I think about constantly. Your safety is something I care about with everything I have. You deserve to move through this world feeling loved and protected and seen — and I will spend as long as you'll let me making sure you feel exactly that.
This is just the beginning. And if the beginning is already this good, I can barely imagine how beautiful the rest is going to be.
